Open Origins is a club that aims to be a safe space for everyone. We welcome all students, including international students, mixed students, students who feel disconnected from their heritage, students who would like to learn more about their own culture, and students who are interested in other cultures. Our club is highly accessible, and there is no application, cost, or requirement to join.

Open Origins focuses on learning about different cultures and fostering a respectful space to learn from others’ cultures and perspectives. It is not a club for politics. We are also an educational club, so we host presentations made in partnership with our members and guest speakers during general meetings. We are committed to being as authentic as possible and to helping individuals connect with their culture.

We are currently organizing several fun activities, including but not limited to cultural arts activities, cooking cultural meals in the Hitchen, cultural movie nights, field trips to different museums and ethnic enclaves, holiday celebrations, scavenger hunts, and collaborations with other clubs.
